Custom Schedules for School Days and Weekends
Bedtime is just the start — schedules can carve out homework hours, dinner hours, and weekend windows. Here's how to build a weekly rhythm.
Beyond bedtime
Guardian-CORR schedules aren't limited to sleep. Any recurring window can pause a profile's internet — homework hours where gaming is off but nothing else changes, a device-free dinner hour, or a morning study block before school.
Designing the week
Think in blocks, then translate:
- Weekdays: a bedtime schedule for school nights, plus an optional 3:30–5:30 PM homework window where entertainment categories pause.
- Weekends: a later bedtime and looser daytime — many families keep only the bedtime rule on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Custom days: schedules can target any combination of days, so a Wednesday-afternoon club or a Sunday-morning routine is easy to express.
Stacking rules
Multiple schedules can run on the same profile; the internet is off whenever any active schedule says so. That means your bedtime and homework windows compose without conflicts.
Keep it reviewable
The Schedules page lists every window at a glance. Review the set at each school-term change — the rhythm that worked in spring rarely survives a new sports schedule in fall.
